OKTO

Originally from France and Switzerland and now based in Perth, Australia, OKTO has developed a sound sitting between deep bass music, tech-house and cinematic electronic textures. Heavy low-end, hypnotic grooves and strong musicality blend into immersive sets designed to create real emotional and physical connection.

Before stepping into the electronic world, Jerome spent years as a professional musician performing across Celtic music, rock, blues, jazz and pop. That broad musical background still shapes the DNA of the OKTO project today, bringing a strong sense of dynamics, tension, groove and storytelling into both productions and live performances.

What sets OKTO apart is his approach to immersion. Drawing from years working across sound, lighting and immersive festival environments, his sets often blur the line between DJ performance, audiovisual experience and collective journey. Rather than chasing attention, the focus is placed on atmosphere, flow and creating spaces where people can fully lose themselves in the moment.

Over the years, OKTO has become a respected presence within the Western Australian electronic and festival scene, known for emotionally charged sets that resonate equally in intimate gatherings, warehouses and large-scale festivals.

Beyond the artist project, he is also the co-founder of FEEL, an immersive light and sound installation, and one of the creators behind Funkazba, one of the major theme camps at Blazing Swan. Through these projects, he has helped build a long-term creative community centred around immersive art, underground music and transformational experiences.

From Earth Frequency and The Wild Campout to Bass Camp, Blazing Swan and underground gatherings across Australia, OKTO has steadily built a distinct world around his music while remaining deeply independent and true to his vision.
